As any sprinter will tell you, the most important part of a race is the start. So it is with the race of life. AWS Infant & Toddler Services are designed with that idea in mind. We work with infants and toddlers who are facing developmental delays and may benefit from early intervention therapies, and customize programs that give them the best shot at a quick start in life so that later success may follow. A key component of that success is the family learning as much as possible during this critical developmental juncture. AWS (Anthony Wayne Services) provides direct care services to infants, children and adults with disabilities throughout Indiana. Today, more than 7,000 people are receiving some type of service from AWS. It may be a little or a lot. Every day or a few hours. It could be at home, on the job or in a social setting.Founded in 1960, the mission of AWS is to help children and adults with disabilities live as independently as possible, be included in the community and function at their maximum potential. From residential programs to employment services to early intervention therapies and recreation therapy, AWS helps people with disabilities thrive!
