Bona Vista Programs' Early Head Start, a free child development program that serves pregnant mothers, and children up to their third birthday, is now accepting applications for families and children. This Early Head Start Program is available in both Howard and Miami Counties and currently serves 64 expectant parents, and families with infants and toddlers, in home based and center based services. Each child who attends Early Head Start receives child development services and health services, and parents are involved in every aspect of the program. The EHS Prenatal Program is designed to help eligible pregnant women receive the medical care they and their growing babies need. A prenatal specialist works with mothers to provide information about pregnancy, childbirth, and caring for a new baby.
